2010 Lamborghini Revention Roadster

At this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, Lamborghini pulled the covers off it’s latest model, the Reventon Roadster. The open-top two-seater features the same aggressive lines of its coupe predecessor while maintaining many of the same attributes, including the 6.5 L V12 engine which puts out 661 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque. The result is a 0-100 km/h / 0-62 mph sprint of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h / 205 mph. The car carries a $1.6 million (USD) price-tag with delivery set for October 2009.

  1. it’s not as fast as i would have expected by looking at it. 205mph for 1.6million . . . . . . . . . . . 225mph would be more like it. although the acceloration from 0-60mph is pretty impressive, the top speed is VERY disapointing.

  2. I agree – but when you got money like that to buy it, I think it’s all about the “WOW” factor.. LMVVSAO

  3. Damn!!! That’s blazing!

  4. Don’t doubt that Porsche will put such a low-volume halo car into production, either. Nearly a decade ago, the automaker employed a similar tactic with its Carrera GT, which began life as a racing car prototype but was eventually offered for public sale after sufficient interest was generated. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – Porsche: build it and they will come.
