Jack Daniels Alcoholic Beverages

This March, Jack Daniels will be introducing a line of Tennessee Whiskey infused beverages to the market. With flavors like Whiskey & Cola and Whiskey & Ginger, I’m sure these will be a hit amongst those who want something that tastes better than a beer but not girlie like a wine cooler.

Anantara Kihavah Villas in the Maldives

Anantara Kihavah Villas opens its secluded retreat in the Republic of the Maldives, a largely untouched, island nation a little more than 400 miles from Sri Lanka. The resort is tucked away on the Baa Atoll, a former coconut plantation surrounded by lush vegetation, a vast array of marine life, and expansive coral reef. Each of the 78 overwater or beachfront villas opens to lagoon views and private infinity pools, wooden sun decks, and outdoor showers and baths.

The resort offers everything from yoga and windsurfing to cooking classes taught by local islanders, plus it has five distinct dining venues, including an underwater restaurant and wine cellar limited to 18 diners at a time. As part of Anantara Kihavah Villas’ effort to preserve the island’s natural state, the resort gives guests the opportunity to plant one piece of coral (which you can track on its web site) to maintain the marine life and all that makes the island unforgettable.

From February 1 to December 20, 2011, the resort is offering a Best Available Rate starting at $1,170 per night for a Beach Pool Villa; prices regularly start at $2,200.
