Time Pieces: Too Short in Oakland

“Time Pieces” are black and white, Super 8 mm, short films by director/photographer Jason Goldwatch that focus on his personal heroes and cultural icons. Textured, intimate and shot silent, Goldwatch shoots and also edits the film himself by hand, and also decides which music to serve as the soundtrack.

In this episode, he rides through Oakland with legendary Hip Hop OG Too Short.

The SmartWatch

Looks like Sony’s SmartWatch has finally made it to the U.S.! The watch, which works in unison with a variety of smartphones, allows wearers the ability to stay connected and conduct business without having to dig into your pocket for your phone. It’s 1.3-inch display can read social updates, text messages and email, manage calls with a simple touch and swipe, personalize apps downloaded from Google Play, and control music. Additional bands are available in pink, white, mint, grey and blue.

New York City’s KRINK recently worked with Casio on a G-Shock watch using the brand’s signature metallic silver. Also added is the KRINK logo placed in several locations over the watch. Sweeet!
